The Avalon Power and Sail Squadron is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to teaching safe boating on the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador, including St. John’s and surrounding areas.

Avalon a power and Sail Squadron is the local branch of Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons, a non-profit organization that has been connecting boaters for 76 years and continues to play a major role in Canadian boating culture.

We are a nationwide organization of recreational boating enthusiasts with over 23,000 active members. Our instructors help recreational boaters improve their boating safety knowledge as well as their vessel handling and navigation skills.
